The problem is that when i turn the computer on it will not load properly. It starts up, and comes to a screen with loads of writing on it. This as always happened. But now all of a sudden once it gets to this page it stops and will not load. I turn the computer off and then back on again and then it works. sometimes i have to turn it off 3 times to get it going. it is a advent machine with windows xp. There is loads of memory on the computer. All the anti virus protection is up to date. Can anyone help why will it not load first time.

If theres a cd in the drive at startup, that could be it, make sure you take them out. Mine did this when i kept leaving the sims 2 in there. Also check the floppy drive if there is one, or any external drives that are unnessesary
