My computer starts up trying to start CC common?

I can not get rid of it. It locks up the computer and won't let me sign up for any other protection on the computer. (Such as yahoo anti virus protection). Any suggestions

you can turn off individule items that are set to start up when your computer reboots.

1. click start button

2. click run

3. type in "msconfig" in the box and hit ok

4. click startup tab

uncheck the programs you dont want to start when you start up your computer

5. click ok

6. restart the computer

If you cant do the above steps because of the program trying to start up, then simply reboot your computer and press F8 while it is rebooting. then start in safe mode. in safe mode, you will be able to follow the above steps. (Note some computer models you have to press F6 while rebooting)

(1) Get you self a good antivirus or a free one .

(2) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot do that now .

(3) Do an online virus scan to check if you still have any other viruses in your computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or spyware .
