im setting up a friends computer who doesnt have too much spare cash so what free protection programs are there out there? what do you recommend for anti virus,anti spy, anti spam and firwall protection and anything else that maybe required? all help accepted

use avg for both spyware and anti-virus and windows has a bulit in firewall so thats all you need if u have msn i can help u out more if you require just add me on stokes3146@hotmail.co.uk
for antivirus, i suggest avg. for adware removal, i suggest spyware terminator. firewall, zonealarm or comodo firewall pro. all are free.
