Viruses!!!!?

My anti virus software recenlty expired. Does any one know any good free anti virus protection programs that will actually remove the viruses? I think I already have one because my computer is moving super slow. I have tried some programs from download.com but they just scan they don't remove the virus

In order to install security software without any hassles, you'll need to boot into safe mode:

Restart your computer and tap the F8 key until a menu appears.

(The F8 key is in a row along the top of your keyboard)

If you have an anti-virus that's broken / not up-to-date you need to uninstall it:

To uninstall a program: Click on ''Start'', ''Control Panel'', ''Add/Remove Programs''
