My Internet is showing text only. Is this a virus?

I go to CNN and it just shows a list of links to the different categories of news. Everywhere I go, It's just text. I have AVG anti-malware (Spyware and Virus Protection). Also, my whole computer has slowed down hugely. Just the other day, it was working really fast. Now, it goes as fast as molasses going uphill in January. With crutches.

Try restoring your web browser to the default settings - right click on the Internet Explorer icon, go to Properties %26gt; Advanced %26gt; Restore Defaults. Click Apply and Ok. Close all browser windows open and then check again.

If not, and it was working previously before, go for a system restore to an earlier point where you had it working correctly. Backup all important documents, files, songs, videos, etc. before you do this - all the ones you had on your system after the date you are planning to restore to. Go to Start %26gt; Programs %26gt; Accessories %26gt; System Tools %26gt; System Restore. Select a date to restore your computer to a point where it was working fine. That should work.

Have you checked to see if you have java enabled?

maybe thats why your only seeing text
no probably not your computer may have a system that's messing it up you make want to go to this website www.dell.com oh that's right you cant sorry i couldn't help more you may want to call a guy on it.
