Bt online protection download?

my download of bt online protection, lets me download, spyware protection, softphone, and mail protection, but wont download, anti virus programme or firewall,

it says the p.c should have my name as administrator, i tried that, but still not joy, my p.c. has had norton, previous, and bullguard, bullguard has been fully uninstalled, but for some reason, norton keeps running a live up date, but says, registration has expired renew registration, does my head in as i cannot get rid of it

but i dont think that would help my bt online protection download anyway, any ideas out there ?

tell bt you dont want norton and get a different anti virus i had the same prob dont let them down load anything once your machine is running well

My sympathies, we've been there. My boyfriend has spent ages getting this one sorted, he has kindly offered to let me give you his e-mail address and said if you mail him, he will tell you what worked for him. We've spent months trying to get our 8mb connection and the hom hub sorted, they even had to send us a new one, but it always causes conflictions and restrictions, it can drive you mad. had the same problem myself. in the end i rubbished norton and went with AVG anti-virus free programme and have had no problems since. from what i can make out a lot of people are having the same probs with bt and norton, so you are not an isolated case. best of luck.lol
You can only uninstall Norton by using the Uninstaller available from their website.The uninstaller with their software only removes part of the application for some reason(?)

The Uninstaller will work. Then remove all the BT stuff %26 start afresh..
To uninstall Norton, insert the original disc or use the uninstaller from their website.

Don't forget to uninstall liveupdate separately. This can be done in add/remove programmes.
