Free AVG Home Edition?

What site do I need to go to to get the Free AVG? Does AVG slow the computer down at all? I have Norton Symatec on but also do I need to uninstall that first before I download AVG? Im looking for a free anti virus protection that is good %26 AVG had been recommended any advice would be great

i have AVG and it works great! it's easy to use, completely user friendly, and the scheduled scans really come in handy.

Uninstall any other Virus protection then go get and install avg

Its the best, no it doesnt slow you down a bit. you'll be really suprized about how nice it is compared to norton. it catches WAY more stuff too.
Make sure to uninstall any/all other anti-virus software before installing another, including AVG.
I too was using AVG and still am but i am also running ESET NOD32 which is an even better antivirus because it has a very good online protection system so i would recommend NOD32 aswell as AVG http://www.filehippo.com/download_nod32/ This is the version i got and am pretty sure its the newest one, both are pretty good and dont really effect your computers overall performance, well not so much that you would notice it.
I use AVG free and it has blocked any nasties by it's self.
