Hi, my nephew has an acer laptop with Avast as his anti-virus protection. He is 15 years old and visits loads of porn sites, my question is, how do i put a block on his laptop so he can't bring these porn sites up anymore..?. Thanks to anyone that can help..
How do i stop my nephew visiting porn sites on his laptop???product key
strongly recommend NetDog Porn Filter : http://www.netdogsoft.com , netdog blocks all porn sites quitely in the background when anyone's on the computer.
How do i stop my nephew visiting porn sites on his laptop???triumph
Does he have parents? His Internet privileges should be taken away. He has no business on porn sites.
dont be so cruel,,,
Take the laptop away from him and tell him to go and do something without resorting to a PC, a mobile phone, blackberry, strawberry or any other electronic device.
1 take the laptop from him
2 tell his parents
3if this fails give him a good talking too
chances are he will get around it- kids are so tech savvy.
Tell him that he will go blind ;)
Aww come on, as others have said, he's 15 and is doing what comes naturally to 15 year old boys! He's learning, and in a safe way too. As long as he's not looking at anything worrying or illegal you should leave him to it - at least he isn't having to resort to the embarrassment of buying top shelf magazines, which is exactly what he'll do if you remove the option of looking at it on line.
try given him a good kick up the bum
Are you sure this is the best thing to do? He will only go buy a magazine or borrow DVD's. As long as they are free sites leave him alone. He's hormonal.
edit the firewall settings... would like to know the OS.
i think it all depends on if he knows that you know.
put parental control on the computer
Put iodine in his drink.
Build a web page full of his personal details with a message saying that the laptop has been monitored by FBI and does he realize that he can be penalized for underage access? make it internet explorers home page.
Somewhere in the settings, you can specify websites he can use. But, it will take ages. Or there's probably an option to block those websites if you have an Anti-Virus program.
Use parental controls
